Aging In Place Remodel 10

We were called upon to make the front of this home accessible for a wheelchair. The customer did not want a permanent fixture in the front of her home, so we installed a temporary ramp that is not attached to the house or the property to meet her current needs. The new landing and ramp were built with treated lumber. We installed a new railing and installed grip strips on the ramp. The ramp also has bumpers at the end to keep the wheelchair from rolling off the ramp. The customer was very happy with the finished project.
