Aging In Place Remodel 9

We were called upon to make the existing hall bathroom accessible. The original layout had a tub and was not functional for the family. We gutted this bathroom down to the existing framing. Removing the existing tub and installing a barrier free shower. The shower has a standard shower head along with a handheld shower head for easier bathing. We installed a new grab bar and a built in nitch in the shower. The floor was tiled, a new ADA complaint toilet and a wall hung sink for easier movement within the bathroom was added. A new ceiling exhaust fan, medicine cabinet and light bar completed the project and the customer was thrilled with the results.
